WIP: Wednesday, July 18

Can one join too many quilt-alongs?  I guess I’ll find out, although I’ve only joined three.  But seriously, I don’t know how some of you quilters out there get so much done!  You are all so productive!  But reading quilting blogs qualifies as quilting, right?

First up is the Beginner’s Quilt-Along and Block 6:

Next up is a swap item for the Eugene Modern Quilt Guild.  This was my second meeting and I was so excited to participate in the themed swap.  The July theme was Something White, and I decided to make a little zippered pouch.  My plans to document the process didn’t work out because I got so caught up in the fun!

The lining is this awesome fabric:

Progress is happening finally on the baby boy quilt, now officially Owen’s Quilt.  Welcome, Owen!  I hope to have this to you soon!

One block down, 25 to go!

Also in progress:

Mom’s Quilt — moving along, slowly!

Groovy Quilt-Along — planning colors

Polaroid Quilt-Along — working

Hotpads — found some more fabric to add to these, making a design

Scout quilt — no progress

Pinwheels — no progress

iPad case — still looking for a pattern I like

Check out my post about the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show!

I’m linking up at Freshly Pieced — see you there!

  1. If reading quilting blogs doesn’t count as quilting, it definitely should. It is research! ;) QALs are so addictive. I keep joining them, even though I can only keep up with one at a time LOL. Great blocks! I love that cute baby quilt block! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday
